The Locanda Gandriese is a historic establishment in Gandria. Inserted in the fabulous historical center of the village, it has a splendid inner hall with a spacious balcony that directly overlooks Lake Ceresio, and three bedrooms with views of the beautiful surrounding landscape.

From February 2017 the structure is managed by the young Sardinian chef Davide Crobe, who offers local and Sardinian specialties revisited. Despite his young age, the manager has accumulated a considerable wealth of experience in numerous contexts, both in Italy and in Switzerland.

Our structure is able to host your private events. We are able to provide our catering services also outside, with a catering service able to satisfy your requests.


We renovated our restaurant’s premises first in 2017, for the new opening, and then in 2019. The 55 seats are distributed mainly in a large room, communicating with the balcony, our flagship. Ceresio and eat accompanied by the sounds of nature and the waves that break on the banks of the water. In the immediate vicinity of the main entrance, look at the large bar counter and, in front of it, the majestic historic fireplace.

Other tables are located in a section of the structure suspended above the street below which leads to the piers, near the entrance to the rooms.


Our structure has three rooms directly facing the lake: a triple room with a large double bed and a single bed; a double with large double bed; a double with single beds easily convertible into a comfortable and large double. All rooms are equipped with a wardrobe for clothing arrangement. Although the bathroom is shared in each one there is a small toilet.


Our menu combines the flavors of the area with those of Sardinia, expertly revisiting traditional recipes and proposing them in new and refined combinations. It is also generally complete with a section entirely dedicated to your children.
